No. Study visits, tests, and the investigational device are provided at no cost, and travel support is available. Routine care outside the study is billed as usual.

No incisions. The device is placed through the mouth with an endoscope under anesthesia. Every risk and alternative is reviewed with you before you decide.

3 in 4 participants receive the RESET device. The rest receive a sham-control procedure, and you will not know which group you are in at first.

No. RESET is investigational in the United States. This study exists to evaluate its safety and effectiveness.

About 21 months of visits. The device stays in place up to 39 weeks and is then removed endoscopically.

All research and endoscopic procedures carry risk, including abdominal pain, nausea, bloating, blood sugar changes, device movement, bleeding, and infection. The full list is reviewed during consent.
